Domains are not included with hosting plans. You can register or transfer a domain with us, with the first-year and renewal prices shown before checkout, or use a domain you already own by pointing its nameservers to Denobulus.
Yes, from the client portal. An upgrade takes effect as soon as its prorated invoice is paid. A downgrade takes effect straight away, so make sure your sites fit the smaller plan first; unused time on the current plan is not credited. You can also add storage without changing plans.
Every account is backed up automatically each day, including website files, databases and email, and restore points are kept for 30 days. Backups are stored on a separate backup server and don’t count toward your storage. To restore a file, a database or your whole account, open a support ticket. Backups you create yourself in the control panel do count toward your storage.
Every plan includes free SSL, a web application firewall (ModSecurity with the OWASP Core Rule Set), nightly malware scans of your website files, isolated accounts and daily backups. Malware scans detect and report problems but don’t clean them up, and no host can promise perfect security, so keep your apps and plugins up to date.
WordPress is installed for you when your plan is created. WordPress minor and security updates are applied automatically, and plugin and theme updates stay under your control. You also get staging sites, cloning and push to live, daily off-site backups kept for 30 days, free site migrations (1, 2 or 5) and SSH, SFTP and WP-CLI access. Every plan also includes a Redis object cache that we set up and connect for you, which can help busy, dynamic pages respond faster.
Support is by ticket through the client portal, and you can open a ticket at any time, day or night. Our team answers tickets Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Mountain Time (closed Friday to Sunday and US holidays), in the order they arrive; we don’t promise round-the-clock staffing or a fixed response time. On WordPress Scale and Website Care Growth, your tickets are handled ahead of Standard tickets, and Website Care Premium emergencies (site down or hacked) come first. Our servers are in Dallas, Texas, USA.
New Shared Web Hosting and Managed WordPress Hosting plans have a 30-day money-back guarantee on the hosting fee. It doesn’t cover domain registrations or transfers, renewals, SSL or other third-party licenses, website design or extra migration work. To ask for a refund, open a ticket within 30 days of your first order. The guarantee applies once per customer, and Website Care is not covered because the work has already been done.
